Initially I felt weary of staying at this hotel, however after staying there my opinion concurred. The Indian restaurant was delicious. And staff was friendly. However the rooms could use some renovations. It’s very old and looks like things are falling apart in the room. And the water pressure in the shower is non existent. But the bed sheets and towels were clean.

Booked two nights, room was lovely. Although the premises are under refurbishment every effort was made to make our stay a happy one. The authentic Bangladesh restaurant food was delicious and very good portion size, well worth it. Give it a try, would stay again.

Sunday lunch buffet. Nice food but none of the dishes were labelled. Waiters could be more attentive, they just seemed to hover. Had to call them over for drinks and desert menue. Not once we're we ask if the food was OK.

We’ve just spent two nights here while visiting our child at Oxford University and have been so impressed, we will definitely be returning. The building is beautiful and the location is idyllic. The staff have been so friendly and kind, the atmosphere is relaxed and it’s such a lovely place to retreat to after a busy day in the city. Our room was huge and the bed very comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean, Wi-Fi was great and everything worked. We’ve just finished Sunday lunch in the lovely restaurant which was a buffet - we didn’t even get as far as the traditional Sunday roast because the incredible range of curries was so good we couldn’t manage anything else! Honestly the best curries we’ve ever had, and we have had lots! The fish aloo, the lamb korai and the dhal were especially delicious. Anyone leaving a negative review about this place just doesn’t understand it. It isn’t a Travelodge, it’s a beautiful local hotel with its own identity and it’s own unique features. We have fallen in love with it and can’t wait to come again. We’ll also be recommending it to our other family members who visit our child in Oxford.

We come here for the Indian buffet on a Sunday at least once a month. The food is incredible and has a great selection, the service is always top notch and the staff are so accommodating and welcoming. Definitely worth the money, their all you can eat on a Sunday is not to be missed.

The facilities are adequate for the price. My room has everything I need. However the decor is "very tired". My bed is too soft for my liking. However the shower is excellent. The WiFi is excellent. The attached Indian restaurant is excellent. And they are quite capable during a crisis. It has been quiet every night. I have walked into Oxford a couple of times from here.

Excellent restaurant and very well stocked bar. I use this place regularly because it has easy wheelchair access from the garden entrance and good disabled WC facilities.

Amazing people, service was amazing. I was working and delivered to them, that day was a stressful hard day for us and they offered us free a drink for the both of us. Lovely people lovely place and over all pleased with my experience.
